Why hasn't this forum's profile been updated since 2012?

Just saying.

Why spend money and effort putting a fresh coat of paint on something which will soon be torn down?

And Kmart didn’t buy Sears, Eddie bought them both. He just bought Kmart first. But I’m assuming at the rate SHC was going down hill, this site figured it would be out of business sooner then they could update the headline.

If you look up list of Retailers by REVENUE the 100th spot is $11+ billion annually. Whereas, TRANSFORMCO is at approximately $200 million annually. So they're roughly 60 times smaller than the 100th biggest company. The profile mentions 4th largest retailer from 9 years ago ... so that's needs to be changed.

It serves as a reminder of how far Sears has fallen in the past decade.

I agree! I was thinking the same thing! They don't even qualify as a "regional" player anymore. Update it please!

IKR? "Sears, Roebuck & Company is a large international department store chain..."

Just change "is" to "was"

Probably because Sears/Kmart's long painful demise has dragged on longer than it ever should have. As they say, the longest going out of business sale in human history.
