Can we go back to WFH now that the CDC has said they were wrong to say unvaccinated people can not wear masks? Also, vaccinated people are still getting sick.

Everyone in Dr’s office got the shot. Now they all just tested positive for Delta and must quarantine. Seems like if you got the know what you are more susceptible to the delta variant.
It is coming that you will be required to get the vaccine or not have a job. It will start with the govt and move right into business. It already has in the medical field when a local hospital fired the nurses who did not want the shot. Same will happen to the folks that don’t want the vaccine in businesses. The law is on the side of business in Texas and lawsuits will never make it to court. This will all happen in the next 30 to 60 days. Watch and see.
It’s not all just about COVID.
You might be vaccinated, worn mask, social distanced and the works and you’re driving to work minding your own business and get into a car wreck and die because the ICU is full. I don’t care about anti vaxxers dying, that’s just Darwin doing his thing. I worry I’ll get caught in the crossfire. Time to lay low again.

Some are you are right about the deaths.” The govt has a site which I think is called VAER or something like that, and as of last week there were close to 10000 deaths. I was not aware of that many deaths and they don’t tell us that, but it is good info to educate yourself. It is all coming down to the govt saying some deaths are acceptable for the whole of society. I guess that is right unless it is you or a loved ones that die.
You are correct that some people who have received the vaccine get covid. But these people are not ending up in the ICU. Please pay attention to the statistics that are being given to us by the various groups involved in the front line. Do you think doctors and nurses are lying to us? I doubt it. You can see the concern for the unvaccinated in their eyes and hear it in their voices. If you are unvaccinated please wear a mask and stay away from children less than 12.
You are stupid if you think the vaccines are riskier than the virus.
Beware NOT everyone can take the COVID shots, Largely experimental and there have been MANY deaths and unrecoverable reactions to these shots. So please stop pushing these. You want to KI-L PEOPLE? These shots are hit or miss. These shots should NOT be mandated in anyway. Look at Sweden, ZERO COVID deaths and no lockdowns. Latest as----------n attempt on a country’s President who refused the covid shots - Madagascar. President of Haiti had refused these, wild how that country had fewer covid deaths, no lockdowns etc. compared to same size country and population of New Jersey!
I am not anti vax, I have had many required vaccinations for childhood and foreign travels all over the world. But these were REAL and tested vaccinations. Offering lasting immunity. But many covid vaccinated folks are coming down with Covid and does not make scientific sense. The CDC term “ Breakthrough” is just a bandaid or coverup for what is a failure.
It is hard to believe there are Oxy employees who are too d-mb to not get vaccinated. When the vaccine gets final approval the company needs to run a vaccination drive for a few days then clean house for those not vaccinated without a valid reason. Covid will go on and on unless more people get vaccinated. This is no game my friends. Your children under 12 are at risk here.
I am to the point now I am sick of the mask wearing. At this point open the office to all vaccinated without masking. If my co-workers that have not been vaccinated don't want to that is up to them, and leave them WFH with a reduced salary unless their is a valid medical reason for not being vaccinated. Or have all the non-vaccinated back in the office with mask, and have the vaccinated WFH. There is no way we will ever get everyone vaccinated and with that I should not be forced to wear a mask after being vaccinated. Enough is enough.

Just put in a request with HR to WFH. You will either be approved, and if not you can quit. Most would like to work from home, but stop wishing and control your own future.
Agreed! So much misinformation around covid clearly we are still not safe even with a vaccine.
