Macy's can no longer solve even the smallest of problems, not to mention a bunch of bigger problems. Someone already mentioned, employees have problems even with the temperature in stores.
How can they solve major problems of their employees, if they are not interested in such 'little things' as temperature.
I worked at Sears before I came here. Working here is like deja-vu.

@1per+1bQonTCO Do you know how I know you didn’t work at Sears? Sears didn’t have ASMs.
@fou I was an ASM at Sears for 15 years in a So Cal Sears flagship store so yes I do know the direction Macy's is going. It is going in the same direction Sears went. I realize some Sears stores and some Macy's stores are better than others but you have to look at the company as a whole.
Sooner or later this company will file for bankruptcy, just like Sears. Macy's have so many problems.
I worked at Sears for 13 years before Macy’s. If you honestly think Macy’s is turning into Sears. You either didn’t work at Sears very long. Or you just need to complain about Macy’s. As someone who’s witnessed the full demise of Sears. Macy’s is NOTHING like Sears
OP I worked at Sears as well. Macy's is already turning into Sears. The Macy's in the Pacific View Mall in Ventura CA is just like walking into Sears. We all know how Sears turned out.
macys will go the way of sears in 1.5 years
I was looking on macys.com for summer polos and shorts and they have nothing in my size or style all they have are bad knock off brands in styles no midwestern would ever wear. macys is out of touch on the basics of merchandising (sell what customers want/need) its that easy.
