Thread regarding W.B. Mason layoffs

What kind of severance is given to those with more than 20 years here?

Is there a difference in packages or is it always the same? I'd think that a person who's been here for decades would get at least something extra compared to somebody who's been here just a few years.

And no, I haven't heard of any imminent layoffs, I am just curious to learn some details about severance.

The checks were for commissions owed as the lawsuits were coming.

I know multiple reps that got furloughed of March of 2020 and when they got a new job they got a check in the mail. Some got $600-$800 and others got thousands

I was layed off in 2019. They gave me 1 weeks pay for every year of service plus what ever PTO was owed to me. I doubt they would do such a thing now. This is not a company that has ever valued its employees. It really doesn't matter what you have done for them.

Are you really serious?? People were walked out the door that were here almost 30-40 plus years. You know what they got? An empty WB Mason Copy Paper box to clean out there desk.
