Anyone figured out where the 8500 job cuts are going to come from? Hoping it’s all the sales we’ve been hearing and not a real layoff

They should have cut more JG1 and above if they were serious about “reshaping” the company and “delayering the org” and leave the individual contributors as is. These managers of managers aren’t making any meaningful impact and there are way too many of them.

The percentage is somewhat equal across the JG, so the highest cut is in JG5 since there are more of them as far as number being concern.
Shell is weird how they count job cuts. If someone is "cut" and then finds an internal job elsewhere it still counts as a cut.
