I have been here a long time and it has never happened before that so many colleagues quit in such a short period of time. I absolutely understand them, and I would leave right away if I had found a better opportunity, but I don’t understand this company. It seems that they don't care that great people are leaving, and in increasing numbers. Perhaps those at the top actually want that.

Once you leave and join a functional company you will realize how dysfunctional Teradata actually is. The level of CEO and ELT turnover is insane. The BOD should be ashamed of the mess they have created.
I left, I gave them several chances to keep me, but instead they choose the lies of a narcissistic dongus.

More than a handful left in a short time…
Who cares what management thinks or wants when there are better opportunities elsewhere. This past spring was the best job environment I've seen for people with data management skills since the dot com era. If anyone is thinking about leaving Teradata, now is the time to pull the trigger.

It also helps them hit their cost reduction targets and get bonuses. That’s why very few employees even know the database.
