I’m not someone who complains about hard work, I’ve always worked hard. However, lately I’ve been totally burned out. Whomever I talk to of colleagues, everyone is overwhelmed with work to the point that it becomes unbearable.

Good people also leave once they realize that they don’t need to deal with toxic management.
The company doesn't have the profits to invest properly in R&D. They pay lower comp causing good people to leave. The positions are either not backfilled or done with much cheaper inexperienced labor. The amount of work doesn't change. It's just increasingly done with fewer and less experienced people. That's why you feel burned out.
