In my opinion, here remained only the worst employees and those naive enough to believe that things would get better. The best people have left and are still leaving.
That says enough about the future of this company. That is quite a sufficient sign of what will happen to this company in the coming period. Nothing good.

It’s time to call it. No one is buying a fossil watch.

that's sad to hear. i drop by this forum once in a while hoping to hear good news for my friends that are still there.
I was hopeful and pushed my teams to do the same while I was there. at the end of the day, fashion watch sales are down and the remaining employees are just numbers. when it's time to save money, the numbers are reviewed, and cuts are made.
apple watch kicked the fashion watch industries a**. fashion watches are so irrelevant now and don't speak to the heritage of what traditional watches stand for. the smartwatches that fossil has been producing don't compare or compete.
rebranding and downsizing further may save what's left at fossil, if only for a few more years.
