Thread regarding Juniper Networks Inc. layoffs

Compensation this year

Can anyone throw some light on Juniper compensation

1) Average pay increase %
2) Bonus paid (Percentage of target)
3) RSUs paid

Helps me in making a decision.

230 - 280K all in. Annual base increases are neglible at 0 to a few percent if lucky. Bonus was fully paid out this year but on average expect about 60% or target. RSU's is what makes this company different than most. For this position refreshers are about 30K on average. Some people will get a bit more while many others may get 0. Compared to equivalent positions at tier 1 companies, which would average about 180K annual refreshers for meeting expectations rating, the RSU makes up the bulk of the comp difference. Base salary will be about 30% lower than tier 1. Bonus target is the same but the fact that it's rarely fully funded makes the bonus payout far less than tier 1.

This is accurate but I'm not sure how to shed light on this. Previous OP seems to shed some light into this. Looks like they're trying to do some positive morale by promoting but screwing the harder working class over. Management pushes certs HARD and they don't pay for more than one fail. How else are you supposed to pass? You have to cheat unless you want to waste a ton of money.
