Thread regarding Raytheon Co. layoffs

The CRT stuff

This is what you get when you have an executive willing to sell out to communists if it means they get a government contract. Do they actually believe this nonsense? No. They will do anything for a buck today even if it means a worse company and country tomorrow.

So ... You're mad that Raytheon is saying that racism won't be tolerated. They're not doing full on CRT classes, they're just saying to be a good person, and think about other people's feelings, which is good in any workplace. If you can't just be good to your fellow coworkers, maybe Raytheon isn't for you 🤷‍♂️

RTX corporate communication stance is also that Fox News and right leaning news sources are not credible journalism so they aren’t concerned unless they have bed press from CNN or MSN. These are the same people providing Hayes and the rest of the senior “leadership” with talking points. They assume just because people in corporate admin jobs are happy with it that everyone else in the company must be too. It’s a crock of sh-t and will only continue to get worse. They saw the release of this stuff to Fox as an inspiration that they are doing the right thing. “If the right doesn’t like it, we must be doing something right.”

In a letter later obtained by Fox News Wednesday, Hayes responded to the criticism:

"Raytheon Technologies does not teach or train our employees on ‘Critical Race Theory,’ nor do we use race to foment division…Despite misrepresentation by politically-motivated agitators, there is no meaningful difference between these resources and those used by many, if not most, major employers in the U.S."

What a crock of cr-p.. he got caught and now blaming "agitators"... hurts when the truth comes out and he cannot justify the propaganda he is forcing on the employees. He says it is ok because other companies do it too... LAME ...

saying that you diversified your workforce by cutting some areas to reach a goal of equity would lead to an immediate lawsuit for unlawful employment practices prohibited by the Civil Rights Act.

This website as previously stated by others is actively deleting certain things. Keep that in mind when you type out a long thread or comment. Might want to copy and paste somewhere in case you have to repost.

How many contracts does Raytheon have with the Chinese Communist Party? Look into it, you might be surprised at the amount of defense contractors doing China's dirty work.

They get around this violation by saying the job has been eliminated and offering severance to leave. Perfect example is the merger of the RTN BUs. Older worker job/title is eliminated and not filled. Younger worker assumes the duties making less.

I agree with the top earners and older workers being let go with incentives to retire. There is no need to still be working into your 70s unless you are lonely and have no savings and need the money. Dont know about the race part.

Basing lay-off's, hiring and firing on personal attributes that one cannot change about them self (like age, color, gender, etc.) are a violation of federal Acts such as the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 which forbids employment discrimination against anyone at least 40 years of age. Hiring, firing and promoting based on race, color, religion, s-x and national origin is in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act of 2008, is an Act of Congress in the United States designed to prohibit some types of genetic discrimination barring the use of genetic information in health insurance and employment. Raytheon and all other defense contractors are going to engage in hiring and firing violations as they do not care about retaining high performing employees, this is all about company's like Raytheon doing the governments Human Resource dirty work through normalizing and injecting mo--nic "theories" into their workforce which are nothing more than a poorly veiled cover for reinventing affirmative action and rapidly degrading the defense workforce.

This website must have Woke people working for them, any comments critical of Woke ideology are deleted and threads closed. This is how the Woke suppress dissidents, through censorship. Let's see how long this one lasts.

Someone in a previous thread asked what this has to do with layoffs. Long ago layoffs were based on seniority, then that changed and more recently was based on age and pay. Top earners and higher aged people were released during layoffs. It seems that now, given their stance, layoffs and reductions in force will at least to some degree be based on race and gender. They could release a statement along the lines of “we looked deeply into our workforce and found that we could better diversify our workforce by cutting some areas that were previously dominated by one group. To be true to our commitment, we have readjusted this in order to follow through with our goal of equity”
