Thread regarding Juniper Networks Inc. layoffs

It’s a shame, really.

I came to juniper networks because I love computer architecture and wanted to learn about routers.

This company seemed to be kept alive by lots of old knowledge that’s leaving or has long left the organization. It’s really sad. If it can still successfully produce the next generation of ASIC’s I will be surprised.

Those opportunities didn’t appear to me before Juniper.

It doesn’t matter anyway. I learned enough about networking in the year that I was here.

If that is all you want, isn't cisco or even innovium a better choice? You get paid better for learning the same things.
