Layoff as an opportunity

No need to despair. After they changed my status from furlough to laid off, I found a new job in record time. I just took it as a new opportunity.
I'm almost sure most people would never leave this company unless they were pushed out? If I hadn’t gotten layoff, I would still be miserable here.

I spoke with a few of my ex-coworkers last week. They all stated that after the mass layoff last September, others have been fleeing as well. Not many experienced employees remaining especially in the Zoo Ops department. My wife and I moved to Las Vegas after I was let go in September. Simply love it. See ya’

There are many people that left without getting pushed out over the last 3 years. A toxic environment kind of makes that happen when people know what they are worth and how they should be treated. So sad how things got so bad.
