I don't think I'll need a layoff at all because I hope to give notice next week. I thought the situation would start to improve, as the pandemic situation gets more under control, but no.
There is no change for the better for the employees. I have absolutely no motivation to continue.

I believe the toilet comment. This company is so desperate for employees it is hiring anybody who applies and promoting executives relatives just to fill positions. I can probably tell you what executive the manager is related to.
Tell me your kidding about the restroom comment?
The manager at my store continuously misses the toilet when doing both # 1 and 2 and laughs and tells us we are needed in the bathroom over the loud speaker. He is rude young person.
What are you talking about??? They have an overhead telling customers their greatest asset is their Team Members??? Maybe because the Team Members get paid ASSet wages???
QUIT!…. Trust me you won’t regret it. Once you get a new job (and you will) you’ll realize what a stuck in the 90’s company Giant Eagle is. Giant Eagle could care less about its employees. It’s all about PROFITS
