From what’s being told, there’s allot of techs that’s either being shorted, or days missing for their checks.
Management is blaming it on a down system yet to me (from what I’ve heard) someone is skimming off the paychecks to clear company’s debt.
Is this true???

I’ve asked several techs still with the company, this is very true and Management starting to squash it.
Here in Chicago area, Several techs are missing days to weeks from their checks. One technician was written up for days taken off after he complained about his monies.
Allot of people, not just 2 or 3, are missing hours from checks with no restitution… just system failure lies to constant ignores.
Ok. Most states do not take kindly to employers f***ing around with payroll. If you don't mind retaliation, if your payroll is shorted, you file a complaint with your DOL. California is especially nasty about this. Because once someone files a complaint and an investigation is opened, then EVERYTHING gets exposed. But Sears will know you filed the complaint and you'll likely be downsized.

Also, if you are not being paid properly, and this is chronic - it's called "constructive dismissal" - basically you've been "fired" without being fired. You can then claim unemployment because your employer made your work situation so untenable you have no choice but to quit.

Now YMMV and each state has their own specifics, but if you are a Sears or K-Mart employee and your paycheck has been shorted without any warning, and you've been told the intent is to make good and they are not - you file a complaint with your DOL and see if you qualify under constructive dismissal.
Because no matter what the cheerleaders say, most of the folks who are on this site are looking at being let go. The only people getting the "golden life raft" are the executives.
My cumulative payroll shortage has grown to about $1K as of today.
Tech hub seems to “disregard” OT. Payroll corrections are not being processed due to a “system outage”
Fortunately, Bozo and Presto, our new Executive Team, have produced a video exclaiming how excited they are to be in charge and are “...putting techs first.”
Yes,Yes I do expect them to pay me.If they can't afford to pay their employees, they should just close their doors for good. They are paying me for my time there. They have no trouble telling us when to come in or what to do.And if someone comes to work and does what they are suppose to do they should be paid for it.
I don't know what is wrong with you people. This company is struggling financially and you expect them to pay you like everything was fine. Where is your loyalty towards the company??
If you are in California contact the CA State Labor Board. They have stepped in before and forced Sears to pay employees when Sears didn't pay their employees. I was one of them.

Find your state’s department of labor contact info at the link above. While they will take your name, they will not share it with your employer if you file a complaint- it’s anonymous.
Right around the bankruptcy period there were many pay categories, with associates not getting paid. The following week another group wouldn’t get paid. This went on for about 4 weeks, with different groups not getting paid. It appeared to be intentional, because the money wasn’t available.
Where's Leena?
I want A&E to just pay me my 40 hours that I work each week .Like every body else. Don t tell me you will pay me my back pay two weeks from now.
If you were selling like you should be then you wouldn't be worried about losing your job! Me... I'm good to go, and am about to go on the annual top performers trip.
“from what’s being told”. Sounds like a reliable source to me.
I’ve been hearing this also.
From Florida to Chicago, techs aren’t getting paid.
There’s a few in Illinois that’s supposedly missing half or whole weeks for months.

It’s illegal to not pay employees, no matter the reason give …. Report them to the department of labor, link above.
AREN'T getting Paid, not ISN'T. Techs is plural not singular.
call your applicable State authorities. They all get the people paid system problems or not
This is the absolute truth but we can really do anything about it, we are being told to tell the techs the payment issues are caused by system outages. The tech managers are all scared without knowing what to do. I think the end is near.
