DST / SS&C lays people off at least twice a year, and have since 2009.
If you're not looking for another job at this point I don't know what to tell you.
It's kind of fascinating to watch. There are pi---d off customers who haven't talked to a DST/SSNC executive in MONTHs. There is literally no one at the wheel, Sleightholme didn't do anything I saw, but damn, neither do any of the rest of them! The former DST businesses are completely adrift. It's quite remarkable to witness!
Quit before they can lay you off. Hit them in the pocket. Don't wait until they're in a good place so they can axe you.
Possibly around the September/October time frame. Health is losing a major client
Well if DST's purchaser can save any money by cutting staff here they will. You know the plan probably is to get rid of all "DST" staff at some point, with no ties to KC area. Move it all to east coast.
I assume we are safe for at least a few months?
