I’m pretty sure that when we got furloughed during the pandemic last year there were many of us who held onto the hope of being called back. Then, after months of waiting, there was no communication to return to work. Some (such as me) didn’t wait because we knew there would be no call back. How long did any of you wait until moving on and finding another job?

I was working 2 weeks after the furlough.
I knew people in my department had already been called back in June, and I spoke to my boss end of June.
Based on how he spoke, I knew I was done. Had I been important to the department and the company I would have been brought back over people who had pisspoor performance or had complaints from women in the park about creepy things said to them.
Didn't take long for the confirmation of that at least. So end of June was when I started hunting seriously.
