Thread regarding Sysco Corp. layoffs

Every single layoff Sysco is more than happy to shell out severance money to get our most talented and most experienced people to walk away. Why? Normal companies are doing everything in their power to prevent a brain drain and we are creating one on our own. How is our leadership this dense?
