They keep expecting us to do more with less. To say I'm overworked would be an understatement of the decade. I don't know for how long do they plan to keep removing people while simultaneously increasing the workload for the rest of us, but something's got to give. One of these days I'm going to get completely burnt out and just walk out.

What type of engineer are you OP?
I'm guessing you haven't even tried interviewing for a new job or you wouldn't be here complaining ? With COVID it's as easy as a video call. You can do many interviews, during the work day, without ever leaving your home. Almost every tier one company is paying 2x or more. Even tier 2 companies will give you a very healthy pay bump. The job market is hot and getting a new job shouldn't take more than a couple of months.
