So Q (ie JT) is convinced they don't need a processor team since they can license cores from ARM. They blow up the QCT processor team and totally disregard that ARM can be aquired from a competitor like NVIDIA. Now, it's oh cr-p, we need a CPU team. Yeah and let's get them focused on high end CPUs that can't be used in phones. Duh, what do you think you had with Hydra. Id--ts.

XF stop talking out of your -ss. Hydra was designed for server, period and it was a darn good core for that. If Q wanted to quit server, they could have revectored the team back to smartphone CPU. The same fate awaits this new CPU team doing laptop CPU.
Hydra was utter sh1t with no plan or roadmap to address any of its massive flaws.
ARM was used out of pure necessity and the sheer incompetence of the technical leadership in Raleigh.
