Just a rumor.
CQ is a cult and full of snake oil salesman. Diamondback is screwed
I’m a Diamondback engineer and have heard a bit about these rumors. A couple months ago I discovered my wife was sleeping with several CrownQuest engineers....at the same time. I have no one to blame but myself.
I’ve heard all kinds of rumors regarding this. I work at CQ and it’s become almost a joke at this point. I know the executive level people would be legally bound to not mention it, and when asked, they have either joked about it or said it’s not true…however they would also legally have to lie about it, pretty much. However, I do know certain people in charge are not in favor of selling while others are…but they wouldn’t sell for anything less than $9B. There’s too much opportunity to generate income now they’re reaching being cash flow positive. They’d have to weigh the sale price against how long it would take to generate that same level of income in distributions.
All that said, I have no idea what’s actually happening…

Heard they are only giving jobs to the good looking guys. That company is screwed
