Did anyone see where Macy's recently opened it's 1st standalone Backstage store in Dallas-Fortworth area? Will this help save Macy's? It is a store by itself, not within a regular Macy's store. Macy's is planning to open more along with having stores away from traditional malls. Sounds like a good idea, I mean, TjMaxx and Ross do very well in that category.
Additionally, with "Neighborhood" stores closing, does that mean Macy's will turn some of those into just Backstage stores? If they own the building it may not be a bad idea, if it's in a good location.
