Thread regarding Staples Inc. layoffs

No Longer Reliable

Well, June has come and gone. No layoffs. The one poster who felt vindicated that his predicted "massacre" came in the form of the CEO leaving was almost comical, but was mostly sad. This website used to have a little credibility, but now it's just a complete waste of time stirring up people's fears unnecessarily. I'll be deleting my bookmark once I hit "submit". Good luck to those with good and proper intentions!

The leaders of dotcom are totally overmatched! One of them flies in from another city because he couldn’t get a job there. The other one kissed up to SD until he promoted her 2x. Sad when we can’t get experienced talent.

Big Profits at Staples? What planet are you from or are you just taking advantage of the newly legalized products in MASS?

Give us all a break and join rehab!!!

Just wondering about the "I'll be deleting my bookmark once I hit "submit".
I do not believe this statement at all. Evidently, you have visited the site before and have found it to have factual content.
This is a sure sign of a "troll" indeed that bashes the content with blanket statements.
Troll this, Staples is a doomed company. Even with an offered IPO, no one in their right mind would want to buy it.
As for post about upcoming and current layoffs, it has been very accurate at least 90% of the time. Seems like a good track record to me.

My two cents, leave the bookmark as it. It’s cyclical, the forum becomes very useful when a hot topic/event is approaching (e.g. job cuts). In a meanwhile, we get one or two trolls, somehow they crawl back under the bridge about that same time.

OP is spot on. Nothing but haters in here upset about their disposable performance.

The Staples website used to have credibility too but now it looks like a pile of mismatched components from other websites with a clearly poor e-commerce strategy.

Do the e-commerce or design people know what they're doing?
