Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

on a lighter note, have a great weekend everyone!

These days at Teradata

I am very pleased to announce and welcome blah blah blah to our GTM/ELT/Strategy team. As we reinvent our organization to help our customers move to the cloud, we are seeking highly skilled professionals who have no clue about Teradata and Public Cloud. After an exhaustive search (limited to IBM, Oracle and SAP) and a rigorous interview process (involving beers at happy hour) we have selected this person because they have the uncanny ability like the rest of our existing leadership to hallucinate about the future.
Please join in me in welcoming another clueless person to our delusional team.

You forgot, and "we financed this explosion of VP's, SVP's and EVP's on the backs of not giving raises out this year".

Teradata has been rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic ever since the stock price began its precipitious decline in 2013.

Don't forget the part where blah, blah, blah leaves after 6-18 months with a bag full of cash. The company is being plundered. How else can you explain a revolving door policy for highly paid executives with obviously no experience in the roles they are given? Not sure what club you need to belong to to get invited to the party, but we're definitely not in it.
