Forcing people in various subtle ways to leave this company, is a much more perfidious form of layoffs. I’ve never lost so many colleagues as lately. They all left on their own, and there are many reasons. Are you also in a situation where they are putting more pressure on you than ever just to get rid of you?

the good leaders left the building years ago. some of the very best ones left right after SM came on board and SM shared his plans with them. All those individuals found better homes. The board choosing SM was the problem back then. Since then, SM frequent board realignments are done to position himself to stay in his role until he desires his own exit.
SM is not a relationship builder or a product visionary. He's just a cost manager without many real wins
Sabre lost its way quite some time ago. They ate rudderless and clueless on what it takes to differentiate and excel in the market. It is a toxic workplace due to being mismanaged by mostly incompetant and egocentric VP level 'leaders'

Forced Ranking of staff has gone on for years, to systematically push individuals out on their own. However now we are losing the cream of the crop because of the toxic culture that abounds most everywhere.
