I’m sorry for everyone who is anxious about the layoffs and who is trying to keep the job here, but I honestly can’t wait and would love to be the target. I’ve had enough of all this here and I’ve never been more demotivated to work here.
What I would most like to know is how to increase my chances of becoming a target?

All of you on this page crying about your job need to stop. That's what happens when you can barely graduate high school and blame everyone for the position you're in. Should have gone to college and work indoors. Truth hurts.

I want to be laid off too like CT did when they got their package of 1 years worth of pay and benefits. That is a lot better than just quitting and getting nothing.
You're probably one of the id--ts that takes AX whenever it's available. You do realize in order for you to be laid off, everyone with less seniority than you will have to go first, so you are essentially hoping they hit the unemployment line with you.
Why don't you save the junior folks jobs and quit? Find another job now while you are still employed and move on. Or nah you'd rather be lazy and sponge off of some meager government benefits for as long as you can?

you seem like someone who is a glutton for punishment, you must be a union member to be so d-mb. Being part of the union isnt punishment enough? Having your dues mismanaged and to have to be represented by incompetent hacks that cant even do a job they volunteer for correctly? Hopefully you get unemployment, at least you will be more productive than the union hall.
I waited 3-4 years hoping for our center to be closed so I could collect some fun-employment but sadly it never happened and I couldn’t take it anymore so I just got myself another job .
This is about the d-mbest comment I have heard. If you want to leave, do so. Why would you want to get laid off? Loose your salary, benefits. Unless you have something already lined up, you have no idea how tough it can be getting laid off.
