Would have to agree, I have survived 27 years by knowing when to keep it to myself. I have seen the consequences for those that do not. It can be ugly.

I wanted to share with you my reflections from Monday's Western webcast. I felt discouraged seeing some of the Menti comments, not because I do not like hard questions, but rather I felt some questions and comments were not in line with our core values in Shell and in Development & Subsurface.

To build a Development & Subsurface organization we are excited about, everyone needs to help; it is not a task for leadership alone and I want to start by asking for your input, regardless of where you stand on the broad spectrum of sentiment. I want to hear where you think our culture sits today and what advice you have on how we move forward, preserving and amplifying what works, while addressing our issues head on. I would like to invite anyone who is interested, to sign up to listening sessions through the coming weeks using this form.
We can only achieve this by coming together as community to learn and become better. I look forward to our open and honest discussions.

Yeah, the political stuff on Yammer is getting to be a real problem. We can hope that eventually enough honest people will have enough courage to disrupt the echo chamber. Some leadership support would really help.

Yes, I noticed that too! Europe is where the rot is most extensive. Coupled with dying conventional oil and gas activities, all they can produce is activism. Green energy, gender equity, any other cr#p one could imagine.

A bunch of old managers there are hoping to pull in a few more paychecks, and may the place collapse after they leave. Rest and vest on steroids!

It's sad that the US units are tied to this sinking millstone ... The GoM assets are still some of the best that exist over here!

Someone in upper management needs to speak out. A bunch are on their way out with upcoming Unconventionals & Upstream sales, maybe someone sees all this craziness and will go out with some integrity
