Heard all part timers are going 20 hrs a week only. Any truth to that??

Well I hope there's no truth to that. I'm a part timer but work 37-39 hours a week and I hope to keep it that way. However, I am seeking employment elsewhere that includes benefits. I figure if I'm practically working full time already, I might as well really work full time somewhere else and receive benefits as I'm not going to get them with BBBY short of working in management. I definitely do NOT want that.

Then again....I don’t work in California. It might be happening there so that BBB doesn’t have to pay wages and any new benefits. Too cheap to pay us fairly.

Nope. We would be even more depleted on staff if hours were cut to 20. Many PT are doing 23-25 here.

They should cut there hours because part time is part time not fair to us full timers sorry not .

Some states have labor laws where if employees work over 20 hours consistently the company has to provide benefits to them. BBBY is too cheap for that so they would rather cut their hours.
