After three days off and one day back at work, I'm as tired and mentally exhausted as if I didn't get a break at all. Working here has become so mentally tasking that I'm not sure any amount of time would help me feel refreshed and energized. I'm not even talking about the work, that's the easy part. It's the toxic environment and the stifling atmosphere that are to blame. Sadly, there's not much I can do about this other than find a new job.

Oh you poor soul. I hope your feelings weren't hurt too much.
if you are this upset please look elsewhere. It's not worth the stress. I am job searching still but every interview I get slowly builds up my confidence again. Even if you decide to stay at EM, interviewing helps you validate your experience and technical skills objectively against the market. We are all actually really smart and hardworking people for the most part (minus a few exceptions). Unfortunately, we are put in an environment where it is easy to forget that (due to the natural outcomes of pitting people against each other with relative ranking in a contracting environment). Hang in there.
HAHAHA. Have fun with ranking. XOM is the #ONE ENGINE!!! CHOOO CHOOOO wwwweeeeeee
Then leave? Starting to think EM is filled to the brim with a bunch of whining poosies.
I explained what to do with the shrimp, now get the clipboard, and run around asking for the last VP you ran into....
The real question is have you been doing your power walks to be seen AND heard? What about Yams? If you didn't do these things these last months then dont worry! You will be PIPed soon and you will have to find another job! Just like you wanted.
That’s sad. It only gets worse with ranking and PIP!
If life gives you lemons, make lemonade!
