Thread regarding BNSF Railway layoffs

Can't wait to see the action

Bnsf or the union rep isn't the problem. Part of the other problem is these worthless employees lazy a-s, smart phones eye glued, saying not my job, sitting in the break room, with no real work effort bad rep., and unable to do the simple job, no team player helping each other.... um ok Nevermind me whining,.. I'll shut up now. You get my point.

WELL, let's say limbs that are starting to show signs of gangrene will need to be amputated. Let the layoffs waves be welcomed here to rid of our bad apples.

OP must be white hat that doesn't know how to motive his personnel. Straight out of college and bought into the PSR prospective on a labor force.

One of the biggest problems with the union is how it protects the laziest of workers. We have guys that this is just a place to come for 8 hours and have health care. Barely lift a finger. Unfortunately they are spread up and down rosters across our system. The union needs to get behind a qualification system that separates your best workers from the worst. A lot of these guys can barely pass an open book QMI.

I see this all the time. "Everyone is lazy except meeee!"
Please. They aren't thinning the herd due to laziness or incompetence. The people cut are the ones at the bottom of the roster, and indiscriminately so, regardless of competence or output.
It's about money. It's about showing higher profits to the shareholders every quarter and giving fat bonuses to the people at the top. That's it and that's all.
