I think layoffs are inevitable, and in that case I hope it happens sooner than later. The uncertainty is awful. How do they expect me to work if I constantly think about cuts? With all that, although I'm sorry for the people to whom work here still means a lot, I hope I won't have to wait long to get laid off because I've been here much longer than I should have.

Who knows what the final outcome is. I’ve been here a long time and I honestly believe the end game is taking the majority of our inspections away. There’s already technology that’s in place where they can run a train thru a tunnel of cameras. Set those up in key locations with the FRA letting railroads run longer distances without tests and we lose a bunch more carmen. Hopefully I’m wrong
