The only thing I was sorry about when I gave notice were my colleagues. It would be much easier for me if we all gave notice at the same time knowing that all my work will be transferred to them. If Staples hires someone for the position, it won't be soon, I'm almost sure....

I agree. Most colleagues are just work friends and will have no further contact if you leave if it is not in their interest. But Staples’ future is bright!!!!!
If that isn’t the truth! Work hard for many years supporting and helping all these people and you become NOTHING to them when you leave or are laid off. So happy to be away from this company.
