Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

Where is the potential?

Many people think that TD leadership has no long term vision for this company. That is quite obvious. What do you think that long-term vision should be? In which direction should TD go in the long run, that is, where does the greatest potential for this company lie. I would love to discuss it.

Look at all of the downvotes to the truth. What’s the matter HR/Marketing/Strategy teams, all the other bs attempts to retain customers and talent is failing so you are now trolling the layoff site? Desperate people do desperate things.....

Is it just me .. or does it look like the strategy consultants that TD hired are trolling this forum to figure out what the strategy should be.

LOL. See Snowflake.com for a compelling vision. Snowflake built this in plain sight but Teradata’s ELT and BOD were sleeping. They were cloud deniers for many years. That’s what happens when ELT members can make ten of millions annually without growing revenue. Cut more employees each year to improve short-term profit and get huge bonuses. The BOD did nothing to prevent this since they were complicit. What a broken system....
