I can see well, I think its a combination of inflation and China has put the squeeze on rare earth elements needed for the super alloys. GE doesn't want to cough up the extra money it's taking to secure that material because it might reveal the financial situation they are claiming is improving is not improving as claimed. Highest bidder gets the forgings, GE lost that clout years ago.
If you think GE is really having a forging issue you are blind. These forgings we aren't getting are going to someone...most likely Mexico.
