In the last month I have seen a ton of people announcing they are leaving Citrix on LinkedIn. Was there a layoff?

+1 for the comment regarding opportunities post pandemic.lots of jobs, especially, in the security space and people are really reflecting on the quality of work they are producing vs the pay as well as dealing with lack of direction and personal growth. The end result are individuals regaining control of their careers by making the decision to go elsewhere. Citrix is where the crossroads meet for those that are on their way up,whom will eventually leave under their own circumstances, and also for those that are on their way down, individuals who are burnt out with lengthy tenure in their profession hoping to sit back, produce the bare minimum, and collect.
I can tell you that half are leaving voluntarily the other half are bullied out of the company.
It is not like a big redundancy, but rather they target people who don't suck up or those that speak up. And general that is mature senior people that speaks up. If you noticed almost everyone leaving has been there for many years - that's not a coincidence. If I was an investor I would be really worried about the intellectual property they are losing out on.
They keep the young and inexperienced employees.. anything to make the bottom line look great. But they are losing experience and competence faster than they can ramp up junior people. They keep changing rules for attainment on a monthly basis, which annoys every sales rep.
It has just gone worse from the day Mark Templeton left.
I noticed someone announced his departure like 3-4 weeks ago and hasn’t updated his new place of work. He was probably let go or pushed out...
Citrix doesn’t make acquisitions that grow the core business. Covid confirmed that Citrix is a sh---y company.
Economy has improved with more job openings; hence, people are leaving their old jobs for better opportunities.
Likely because this company was relevant in1998. Heck, I didn't even know they were still in business!
