We’ll post for them then. Reprise over here mfs.
It became miserable as competent expats were replaced with non-working, connected locals. That was 2018. There’s a point that no amount of money is worth dealing with gross incompetence and continuous walking on eggshells. Company deteriorated, we moved on. Now they’re recruiting again but they don’t have anything to offer. They got what they wanted. Now they are choking on it.
All correct. 94 expats tendered their resignations for departure by the end of June in DH alone.
A large number from RT did the same and as for Jazan, that number is around 25 (given its comparable size to DH and RT its in line with the above figures).
Expect to see an exodus in Q3/Q4 of family members with the then solo male of the family holding out for departure end Q1/start of Q2 2022.
The “management” are too blind to see the brain drain happening and continue to abuse expats. Soon enough they shall reap just what they sow (and that won’t be a day too soon either!).
US expats that are still in KSA are too afraid to post anything on this site for fear of reprisal.

I don't think M ratings ever got much in the first place. Most expats used to receive an E (for Expat).
US Expats are all receiving “M” ratings
Not everyone, but the trend is going toward that. Long time employees who work still usually "E". New people could very well be getting "M"s.
US Expats are being quietly laid off
Yup.
Expat Camp life is becoming unbearable
Well, one expat was ki---d in a traffic accident on DH camp by a non Western driver. That never used to happen. I don't recommend riding anything on two wheels. Many non Westerns on camp now.
US Expats are leaving on their own terms
I certainly did, as did many people I know. Guys are also refusing extensions. It depends on which department you work in, but most have really gone to sh^t . The main problem is that there are not enough good, trustworthy people left who are willing to work. New people are being paid 50-60% of what the old people earned. New guys have a bad attitude about it. They don't want to contribute much when the guy next to them doing the same job gets paid double. I don't blame them. Management has taken to promoting bullies to Division Head positions to beat work out of those people, but that creates a bad work environment for everybody.
