Thread regarding Mars layoffs

2021 TSM: Writing on the wall

Would caution all of you to pay extra close attention to the current environment for all TSMs........There’s lot of iPad watching and scrutiny on all TSM activities, everything is under an intense microscope. Just be aware that everything is being tracked more than ever....There has even been tests running in areas to see if the rep ROI is there, which is usually a bad sign.....C Store was treated very similar last year when most of them got laid off.

Either apply to a safer role or start looking for your next move outside the company....Or you can play it out as that works for some. But just be realistic in whatever you decide. Wouldn’t expect this role to be untouched going into 2022 as there were cuts the past two years.. The pressure is clearly on here unfortunately.

Wrigley has been extremely fu---d up ever since Bill Jr reorganized and brought a large number of industrial gypsies on board to displace previously experienced managers. Most were great at power point presentations of other peoples hard work frequently giving others the impression that they had something to do with it on a selective basis.

After several years with Bill Jr’s id--tic management, he finally succumbed to family pressure to step down and hire another industrial gypsy to take his place. His personal life was in shambles after being caught fu----g his secretary which led to his divorce and nervous break down. He no longer retained any credibility to run the company and opted to sell it all to Mars.

It’s no surprise to me that Mars has eventually discovered the useless layers of middle managers and is cutting heads.

As it should be MARS sucks. So inefficient. Glad someone is finally paying attention.
