Lots of people leaving EGD, what's going on?

I ask because in my experience (of several decades), it has always been the case that Enbridge overpays. I can't speak for the union side.
I had direct reports that complained about being asked to take on additional responsibilities. That floored me, since I knew what they made, and what they did. And lots of people post on this board about seeing slackers all around them
Hence my question.
"Were you doing enough for the wage you were making?"
I feel compelled to ask. Why would you ask such a question? There is such a thing as a job description coupled with annual performance reviews. If you are doing your job, as required, you get a fair review. If you are union and doing more than required, that's unusual. If you are salary doing more than required, it's the norm.
"Asked to do more and no wage change."

Workload continues to build and build. Asked to do more and no wage change.
The treatment towards front line has dwindled to the point where virtually everyone does not care.
No sense of staying
What is lots?
