Np mechanical unions fill the holiday forces for the carrier and are now subjecting us to discipline by forcing members to work on their scheduled rest day. Man it's great paying to have them do that sh-t to you.

They can’t make you work your scheduled days off
What we need is a voluntary list of who voted for/against a contract. No one ever votes for these things and somehow they pass.
Just don’t show up like everyone else. You won’t get in trouble

Don't be scared to say no! That is my rest day and I'm enjoying my family! Don't let them use scare tactics on you! Phuuuck your local chairman go directly to vice local or even higher! Trust me, if they pull any buuulll shiiiit you can win that easily!
Oh yea, de-unionizing is a great idea.....not! Do this and see what happens. Your jobs would be at 12-15 per hour with no health insurance. As bad as the union representation seems at times, being a UP worker without the unions would be far worse. The.company would absolutely love for this to happen as it would free them up to do anything they please.

No law requires UP employees to be unionized, and most union/agreement employees at UP complain about their unions constantly. The simple solution is to de-unionize and bargain individually.
UP unions are never more than one lawsuit away from being ruled out of existence. With the federal bench being packed with anti-union judges from 2017-2020, this is a lot more likely to happen.
