What I got as a hard worker is just more work. I don't envy people who are relaxed and stress-free here, everyone deserves such working conditions, but isn't it unfair that work is so assigned that someone is overwhelmed with work while someone else doesn't do even half of it?

I am 99% certain I know the original poster. There are so many issues with NM as an employer right now. Just walk, as many have and many more are about to.
I agree. Often I was the first to arrive & the last to leave. My manager thanked me & then just piled on more work. Some of my co-workers just walked around talking all day, pretended to work from home, went to meetings & training sessions; the list goes on & on. It's funny that I never had time to volunteer for anything or go to non-work related meetings during the day. The reward - middle of the pack 'meets expectations'.
I left 4 years ago. The above comments were also correct back then. I would add that many of the promotions go to family and friends of management. As to working more and harder. Yes. Management doesn't know how to deal with slackers. So they let them sit with their cell phones, watch videos on their computers, and romp around singing and dancing. The work has to get done. That is where you come in. They shove the work on the hard workers. No promotion, raises or recognition. Unfortunately other companies are doing this too. I worked for Aurora 1.5 yrs. Same stuff.
Somehow if you're the first person to leave the office, you're the first to be promoted
And there is plenty more for you to do! As you know, The Company is unwilling to hire/staff appropriately. Now get back to work so everyone else can go to ERG meetings and post memes on Slack!
