MK WATCHES DOING WELL!!!

Although positive comments don't seem to be too popular on this forum, i think it is worth noting that Capri Holdings management was very positive on their earnings call today about the performance of their watch business. They noted that retail comps were growing positively for the first time since 2016 and we're up by double digit, largely thanks to new and younger consumers which they expect to stick.

Personally I think this is very good news and from an important and credible partner and testimony that Fossil business is not dead and opportunities still exist

On the other other hand this is what John Idol, CEO of Capri Holdings, said during the Conference Call:

"I am excited to say that our watch sales were positive for the first quarter since 2016 with retail sales up double digits. We continue to see a resurgence in our traditional styles that are true to our DNA with bold sophisticated and distinctive designs."

" And that's what's so exciting and we find that in the watch business too. And we've talked about our first quarter of seeing watch comps up and it's for many years and this is because the new customer finding our brands. So we're super excited that we can see that happening. So I do believe that this is going to be to use your term sticky."

As I said...good news are not welcome here...
