I will be there soon & don't want to fully waste my time if the stores are just utterly empty. Interesting that CA is the last remaining stronghold of the former Sears Roebuck empire. Could kick myself for not visiting the Boyle Heights store before its demise.

I parked near the Burbank Sears to buy some movie tickets and I went in just to see the sad state a few months ago and most of the third floor was blocked off by shelving because they just didn't have product to fill it.
I wanted to goto the Big Bare Kmart before it closed but I was too late.
California is 6 Sears & 3 Kmarts are remaining
Was in Costa Mesa Kmart last month and it was a sad joke. It looked like they were REALLY trying, but it was so empty. Now it’s closing so I guess it doesn’t matter anymore. Went to South Lake Tahoe Kmart last year and it was a sad state. Also went to Long Beach Kmart, Yuba City Sears & Clovis Sears (all of which are now closed), they were mostly hit or miss and in a sad state. Still got to spend my SYW points which was why I stopped and I only stopped because I was on a road trip to visit national parks and they were on my way anyway.
California is their stronghold? LMAO We have more McDonald restaurants in my small midwest town than Sears does in that entire state!
Going to Sears is a waste of time even if it is within walking distance from your own home. Is that the best thing you can find to do on a trip to California?
