Everyone should keep their resumes up to date and have their financials in order, but most of all always be looking for a better job. There is nothing wrong with taking control of your future. Granted you can’t control being laid off, but what you can control is how it affects your future. Don’t be the person who didn’t plan for the worst and only hoped for the best.
