That is what disappointed me the most, that injustice, unfounded favoritism, nepotism.
I am now in a company where I earn a lot less, but I am much happier. I could have been rehired, but there’s no way I’d come back here even if they offered me twice the payment that I had before and I know I’m not the only one who thinks so. It is a matter of principle, which this company does not have.

I would work the company! Haven’t found a job since being let go last year and it is scary!

The only principle I have is being able to feed my kids. GA has its problems and doesn’t pay the best - so the fact that you are being paid less leaves me speechless. I probably thought I was a lot better than what I was bc no one wanted to hire me…. I got 1 interview and sent my resume out 500 times. No one wanted me and it was humbling…. When GA asked me to come back I ran to the door and counted my blessing…. The only thing on my mind is being able to put food on the table and now I can…. So don’t bad mouth people who went back bc I had no other options
