Thread regarding Altice USA (Cablevision) layoffs

Altice wants is to be a isp provider....

They've made it clear what their intentions are

Only way altice will get to its desired number of employees and when I say employees I mean operations...is by making them miserable or by offering a package..
A real package like the first one they implemented 3weeks not that bs 2 weeks...
Then u see how quick these employees will leave..
What are u waiting for....

I know I won't mind taking a package and working for a contractor with less restrictions and responsibility... who the fck wouldn't want to work in shorts and not have the responsibility of safety equipment or safety cones, or hard hats, or worrying about getting written up for removing noise filters, or anything that requires brain activity....plug and leave the customers home 20x a day and tell the customer u be aight...

Just remember it’s coming when you least expect it! So leave on your own terms! It won’t be easy depending upon how long you did this job! Thats the problem. Guys like you...contractor or not...remove the filter and not fix the problem. Ive seen soo much of that. And botched fiber installs creating no light calls. Turning pdos into spaghetti mess

3 weeks a year is nice but 2 weeks a year is not bad either. I would not hold out for the 3. If they offer 2, take it. I left last May with two and it carried me a year AND was able to collect. As long as it's not one week, you're in good hands. live off whatever and bank the rest until you land on your feet.
