OK, all trolling aside, this is a sincere observation. First Time in Months, that the closings will probably catch up to the announcements. In other words, unless there are more closings announced before May 30 (which seems unlikely), ALL THE ANNOUNCED STORES WILL HAVE CLOSED, before any further new closings have been announced. (This is because Costa Mesa, the only currently closing store, finally kicks the bucket in less than 7 Days). So, unless we get another closing list THIS WEEK, then as of May 31, Memorial Day, there will be ZERO liquidating stores. It hasn't been since November 2020 that SB 360's list has been completely empty and it's an odd thing to see, come next Week.
Anyone have any ideas why the closings have slowed down to a trickle and even seem to have stopped completely? Why would there be zero closing stores next Week? I thought they'd be closing by the dozens until there are only Guam and a few others left, but we're back to pulling teeth to get some nice closing rounds around here. Step it up, Ed man! Close everything but Guam, USVI, Hometowns, and online, and be done with it already!
