Why do people want other people in the office? Do your thing in the office. Some people work better from home.

You are all so fu----g weird. Check yourself

One way to look at it is what would you be doing if the pandemic never happened. I don't know about you, but with all the deaths worldwide and 570K plus in the USA I think many would trade that for never having been able to WFH. We are coming out of this once in a lifetime event and going back to work is nothing compared to the people that have lost loved ones, and the people that are still suffering from the affects of Covid. Think back to Feb 2020 when everything stopped for many people, and don't forget many people just kept on working and dealing with work and family. To even think current work schedule would exist back in Fen 2020 would be a fantasy schedule back then, and people would of lined up to sign on for it. It is time to get back to life, and be glad we are all still here and have a place to work with a great schedule. If it is not what you want we still live in America so go find another job. If you are healthy and your kids are taken care of look in the mirror, and if you are complaining about the three days a week in the office you really have bigger issues than work.

Why can’t people look at this like you are going back to the office after your annual one month leave where you did all kinds of fun things and enjoyed your family. Going back to work is tough but you know you have to do it for your job. This is called operating like a mature adult.

You sound like a little person in the organization who doesn’t want to participate in the big picture. Maybe your types should be spun off as work from home part time contractors with no benefits. Can’t beat that.

You can always work at night and weekends. This has always been the norm for those who have a great work ethic and are motivated. Remember a work ethic is not defined by someone who tells their peers to pi-s off when they try to engage them in the office. This behavior is called being a jerk. These people should be run off.

What I am afraid of is NOT getting as much done as I have gotten done WFH for the past year. Was surprising to me and I find myself working longer hours since no commute, no getting ready to go to the office, can just roll outa bed, 20 mins later am at work! Now you cant beat that!

There has been many step up and put in the hours at home plus some. The ones that coasted are the ones that will have culture shock. Once all the politics are behind us work will be in the office like before. Thing is who will be willing to go back to work as usual.

Would love to come back to an office and get paid again, especially the deal you guys have now with the hybrid work schedule. Please don’t be negative about going back because you could be unemployed. Which is better?

Not me. I average 12 hours a day at home, and I am ready to walk out the door at 4:00pm.
