I just heard from a source high up within the company that TransformCo is liquidating in a soon to be released announcement from Eddie.

The Guam store could easily be sold to Wesfarmers, who owns the K-Mart name in Australia.
The Virgin Island stores, unless they're going to be sold to WalMart or Target, I dunno who'd take them.

There are currently 4 in that state and OP (falsely) claims that 2 of those are closing, which would leave Grass Valley and Costa Mesa. But again, it's a moot point, because OP's list is fiction.

That Kmart COULD stay open inside a closed Sears. Its just that no customers (darn it again, Eddie will line me up against a wall for the firing squad. I meant Members) could get to it. I would foresee no change in sales figures tho...

Lets say this list was true, if the Brooklyn Sears closed, it would finally end the debate about the Kmart store inside. Kmart inside can't stay open without Sears.

Not sure about the other stores, but somethings up for sure. I work in the white plains store, and my manager's is saying something's in the works for us... I'm really hoping this list is incorrect, but I'm getting bad vibes, at least for my white plains store.

If this turns out to be accurate (big if), it would reduce Kmart to three stores in New York City, one in New Jersey, one in Florida, one in California, and one in Puerto Rico.
