Used to be having a corporate job meant job security and good benefits. Now it’s no better than temp job with benefits that are constantly being reduced.
These same companies wonder why they have so much turnover and why so many people leave after only two or three years. And why they can’t retain employees.
Everybody wants to change the world but nobody wants to change themselves.
Not a Tony-worthy.
You better stick to your day job.

Boeing likes to claim he gave up a lot
Overworked people built planes to die
Now they’re unemployed
With the burden, why?
3-4-6 all gave a lot
When I think about Dave

They are buying and owning stocks again just to encourage investors not to pull out their stocks and show others that the boat is not shrinking, so they can collect big bonuses...Imagine getting that 21 billion bonus, in times of company debt and this Pandemic situation... (oopsss and maybe there are other top management bonuses that was not shared in the news) lol.....
The pain...at the end the one suffering are the small investors who was brainwashed and convinced by these greedy players..

Patience, Dave will restore this company. Give him time.
Buy BA now while it is still a bargain. Don't sell the shares you have. Don't worry about the dividend cut. Look at the big picture. That's just my opinion.
Boeing used to hire and fire without regard to race, religion or orientation. If you look at their stance now they openly state they make their decisions based on diversity. Covid was the best thing that ever happened to this company... it diluted the mismanagement of 737 while also allowing leadership to ki-l off Everett (and other undesirables) all under the guise of a "pandemic".
Unfortunately, even without Covid we would still have Jay Inslee, so Everett is toast either way.
On April 25th, 2021, the Business Insider published an article written by Yelena Dzhanova. In the article, the author stated that Boeing’s CEO, Dave Calhoun, made $21,000,000 (million) in compensation last year despite significant layoffs and a corresponding $12,000,000,000 (billion) net loss by the company. The author went on to report that Dave’s $21,000,000 in compensation was 158 times more than that of the median Boeing employee. It is true, Dave did decline $3,600,000 (million) in salary, although it was after he collected $269,231 for the first three months of 2020. So what does Boeing have to say about all of this? When providing commentary on Dave’s compensation, a company spokesperson simply stated that, “Dave obviously gave up a lot.”
Let’s take a closer look at what Dave gave up. Dave made $21,000,000 in 2020. That is the equivalent of $10,096 per hour and $168 per minute (based on a 40–hour workweek). Although Dave admittedly gave up $3,600,000 (million) in salary, his “sacrifice” only amounted to 15% of his total income. In other words, Dave still made 85% of his potential annual income in 2020.
By way of comparison, let’s consider what others have given up. Let’s consider the former employees that worked 5, 6, 7 or more weekends in a row to simply meet the published production rates of a company that was he–l–bent on maximizing profit and stock price. Let’s consider the birthdays and anniversaries that were disrupted, vacations cancelled, and family–time lost by those in pursuit of these same endeavors. Let’s consider the tens–of–thousand’s of employees who were laid–off and, as a result, lost their primary source of income. Let’s consider those same employees, some of whom now work for half the pay at companies that do not provide benefits because no prospective employer wants to seriously invest in any individual they believe will go running back to Boeing when called. Let’s consider the employees who still work at Boeing today, who are currently working consecutive weekends of overtime to meet the company’s current meager production goals. Let’s also consider the company that is actively promoting this practice while there are thousands of laid–off individuals eagerly awaiting recall. Let’s consider the burden felt by all those proud, hard–working employees who blindly followed and believed in a company that directed them to produce a new and improved airplane model that led to the death of 346 people. Finally, let’s consider those 346 individuals. Comparatively speaking, to borrow the words of the Boeing spokesperson, those people, “obviously gave up a lot.”
I’ve tried to justify Dave’s income. I’ve thought, is he 158 times smarter than the median Boeing employee? No. Does he work 158 times harder than the median Boeing employee? No. Does he work 158 times the hours of the median Boeing employee? No. The reality is I can’t even factor 158 in any reasonable manner to justify his level of income at this particular point in time. I’m not bitter that Dave makes more money using the restroom on any given day than the current median Boeing employee makes in 8 hours of work (or 8 hours of unemployment for that matter). Ultimately it is just sad commentary (i.e. poor form) for Boeing to attempt to justify Dave’s income by saying he, “gave up a lot,” when the reality is quite the opposite,
Just say'n.

Compensation? For what? He should be fined $21 million or go to prison for the rest of his life. Together with all his buddies.
