Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Seritage axe dropped, half the company and much of executive management gone

Since Seritage still doesn't have its own board after its spin–off from Sears, here we go. . . Axe dropped by Olshan, new CEO of Seritage and chairman of the board at Olshan properties. Since COVID began half of staff have been let go including nearly a dozen in upper management. New CIO, new COO, new Chief accountant, new EVP of development. Seritage is effectively already run by Olshan, and look for Sears Real Estate to officially come under the umbrella soon as Seritage needs to raise capital any way it can. You want to know why there have been a flood of nonsense posts to this board lately? THIS is why. Whenever a truth bo–b is dropped in a post, Eddie's minions consistently write a bunch of cr–p to obscure it with nonsense like requiring links. Every time there's a flood of posts, look for the truth it's trying to hide.

I spoke with my Great Grandmother’s proctologist yesterday and he said Service Merchandise is issuing an IPO next week. You heard it here first folks!

I chatted with my brother's plumber for a while. He said Ben Franklin stores are planning to make a comeback.

I just spoke with "some lady" at Woolworth's corporate office. She also said they will be opening stores across the nation as well because of the loyal customer base they once had. I just hoping most of them are still living after all these years.

I believe Montgomery Wards is going to open thousands of stores by the end of the year too!

The truth is that Sears and Kmart are iconic brands with massive, loyal customer bases who will continue shopping through a curated set of world class physical stores plus the world’s most advanced e–commerce shopping experience. When combined with SYW Rewards, the experience is unbeatable.

The. Best. Is. Yet. To. Come.

I firmly believe that. So do tens of millions of passionately loyal Sears customers.

I wish Wesfarnmers and Sears Mexico would take over the company. Kmart and Sears must make a comeback!

Could be a foreign country obscuring the truth on these threads. I heard they're secretly trying to take over those 29 remaining Sears stores. LOL

Seriously? Who is writing this conspiracy theory cr*p? Sears is too irrelevant for anyone to waste their time obscuring anything of any real importance now.

RIDICULOUS!!!! I'm one of the people who has been asking for links, and I have nothing to do with any of these companies! Asking for proof to a plethora of threads telling everyone which store is closing next has nothing to do with "obscuring truth". I'm sure Eddie couldn't care less about anything posted here including the nonsense of this thread either. LMAO

Not necessarily relevant to the future of the remaining 57 Sears and Kmart stores, as all Seritage–owned stores have already closed.

This board is meaningless except to the few still interested.
Nobody needs to obscure anything as there are no consequences to anything posted.
