Of course I am aware that no one is ever safe, but it does not seem to me that there could be a lot of layoffs in the near future. I have a colleague who interprets everything that happens in the company as signs that point to dismissals. Admittedly, for a while I was a bit worried too, but now I’m pretty relaxed and don’t think much about layoffs.

Would hardly call those TAMS being forced out. 1 was laid off because he was a sh-t pi-s poor employee. The rest all got significantly better jobs.
I would not trust anything
The original poster is an id––t and needs to be moved up in priority list for a layoff. The package is pi–s poor these days so good luck in finding another job in the age of COVID.
Just heard at least of 4 TAMs including head of department leaving this week including support engineers and an IT director. Not really worried about layoffs at this point since they're forcing everyone out the company.
No point worrying about it. If you’re doing a great job and not stealing data or se–––––y harassing anyone, then you won’t be laid off.
Even if they’re going to eliminate the position of your whole team, if you have visibility and do a good job they often will try and find a new role for you. Companies don’t just get rid of great employees.
Greatly depends on your role. I talked to someone in consulting who was let go with no warning last week.
